Since this weekend is the last before Halloween, lots of people will be dressing up and congregating at places around Japan, this short survey from MAKEY, a smartphone app that teaches make-up techniques, into Halloween costumes looked at what middle and high school girls and university students would like to dress up as.

Just Japanese Halloweeny things

goo Ranking published a timely ranking looking at Halloween things.

Demographics

goo Rankings asked iBRIDGE’s Research Plus to conduct this survey, where between the 4th and 8th of September 2015 500 members, 50:50 male and female, of their monitor group completed a private internet-based questionnaire. This time everyone was aged between 20 and 39 years old.

I dislike the whole Halloween business, mainly as when I was a kid, one one became a teenager we graduated from Halloween to Guy Fawkes Night; bonfires were much more fun than dressing up.

It’s All Hallows Eve tonight, and I’m sitting at home watching the huge crowds of dressed-up people packing out Shibuya, and quite frankly it looks all rather a little dangerous around the scramble crossing. Here’s a photo from close by, but a less busy area.
