When affected cuteness affects men

With television and other media always playing up cuteness in those in their twenties or younger, goo Ranking decided to take a look at cute habits in girls that get overdone.

Demographics

Between the 23rd and 26th of March 2011 1,070 members of the goo Research monitor group completed a private internet-base questionnaire. 53.4% of the sample were female, 10.2% in their teens, 13.1% in their twenties, 24.7% in their thirties, 23.7% in their forties, 13.3% in their fifties, and 15.0% aged sixty or older. Note that the score in the results refers to the relative number of votes for each option, not a percentage of the total sample. This survey was for the men only.

My pet hate is excessive talking through the nose, as they end up sounding like Donald Duck on helium. Pigeon-toed walking irritates me too:

Here’s someone not Japanese doing the duck mouth just a little too much…

Arrgh - duck mouth overload!

I wonder if the girls that walk habitually pigeon-toed end up with knee/leg problems as they age. Anyways, funny survey.

Is that pigeon toes thing supposed to be cute?!

whitey, it is supposed to be cute, but the person in the video is probably actually drunk – they don’t normally walk quite that badly!

Steven, I suspect that it won’t do their toes or bunions much good, and many seem to have their wee toes bent to a 45 degree angle from too tight shoes. Goodness only knows what it does to their knees or legs or pelvis even in the long term! Watch the next young Japanese woman in heels – if it’s not pigeon toes, they can’t balance and twist their ankles and/or never straighten their knees – knees forward, bum back to keep their balance. It is a rareity to see someone walking normally. Or it’s observer bias as I forget the proper walkers but remember those with all the grace of a baby giraffe
