Advertisementgoo Ranking have another fun FAIL survey, this time looking at what personal grooming in the opposite sex takes you aback, for men looking at women and women looking at men.
Demographics
Between the 18th and 21st of December 2009 1,077 members of the goo Research monitor group completed a private internet-based questionnaire. 51.0% of the sample were female, 8.7% in their teens, 15.3% in their twenties, 27.0% in their thirties, 27.8% in their forties, 11.9% in their fifties, and 9.3% aged sixty or older. Note that the score in the results refers to the relative number of votes for each option, not a percentage of the total sample.

wow, the standing on heels of shoes thing is something even tourists do a lot! had no idea it was so prevalent – are Western shoes just not built right for Japanese feet I wonder?
How do you “stand on the heels of shoes”? As opposed to what – standing on tip-toe? Turning your shoes upside down and stand on the uppers? I don’t understand this one at all.
They fold in the backs of the shoes (the heels) and squash them with the heels of their feet. Only in shoes without heels – I can relate to the heel blisters caused by a new pair of flats, but that’s why you squash them before wearing them.
Ahh, _that_ thing. Yep, it does look a little, well, unkempt in the same juvenile way as a deliberately half-untucked shirt, or pants hanging half-way below the butt or similar.
The first image hit I got for this was Ronaldo. He basically gets paid millions to wear shoes so if he wants to get shoes that fit properly he can. It must be some weird fashion thing.
