No offense meant, but if I wanted to follow you on twitter (which I do) I’d follow you there, not read your blog for your tweets. What makes it even sillier though is that your tweets, at least the last few weeks mirror exactly what you post on your site. If someone reads or site or subscribes to the RSS why do they need to see your tweets? At least make a separate account and don’t post them here too. I really love your site, but I don’t need that many reminders of your articles.

Hi Charles, Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the first line is always a retweet of the previous week’s post, and I haven’t noticed any particular change in the frequency of Twitter sign-ups with or without this. The plugin also seems to have a bug and occasionally double-posts.

I initially thought I wanted somewhere to record my Tweets for posterity, but… I’ll turn it off and see how it goes.
