It’s probably because I see the Japanese コンテンツ so often that I have forgotton English…

But, as well as being the uncountable noun, content is also short for “an item of content”, such as a single ringtone, image, or Flash game.

Thinking about it further, the specific use in the link to the survey was very clumsy, so I rewrote it and used “mobile content” as it sounds better in the context.

Hey, is this a dialect thing (or just engRish) to call mobile content (non-count noun) as “mobile contentS” (コンテンツ)?
