SUICA is the greatest thing in the world. Two months ago I went from Koshigaya to a concert in Kumagaya (both in Saitama) and had to transfer to a line... the Chichibu line, I think it was called? But the important thing was that this was probably the one train line in Kanto that wasn't equipped for SUICA, so everyone *had* to buy a ticket. The concept was just so foreign.

I do look forward to making SUICA standard nation-wide, right now it only works on everything in Tokyo + JR lines everywhere, but it'd be nice when I visit Osaka to not have to buy tickets every time I use the Kintetsu line or whatnot.
