Just experimenting…

There’s the new AdSense for Feeds out, which works with FeedBurner but not very flexibly yet.

However, I have a cunning idea, so if it works you will see this in your RSS reader along with an advertisement…

PS: What do you think about ads in RSS? I’ll only stick them at the end of longer survey posts, not short ones like this, except for this time since I’m just testing…

Sorry Ken, don’t see anything on the feed.

I don’t mind you putting the ad at the bottom of the RSS feed. Bigger sits like BoingBoing do this already. Thank you a lot for asking about it, and for your blog.

I use iGoogle as my homepage, which lists all the post titles for the feeds I’ve subscribed to, but I rarely expand the titles to read the article, I just click anything that looks interesting and go straight to the site. So, ads or no ads makes no difference to me! :)

Yup, it failed miserably. My cunning plan was to redirect my feed from this site to the new GoogleBurner service, then point the original FeedBurner at the new GoogleBurner one, making it a middleman. Sigh, I’ll just have to wait for the official transfer.

I’m not a big fan of ads in my RSS feeds but I’d endure them simply because you asked what your readers think about ads in their RSS feeds. If if helps you pay the bills then go for it. Great blog. Thanks.
