@gbrgn
Quite a stereotype. Most countries tend to favor their country's brand given that it is comparable to foreign brands in just about anything. Nationalism is also more vocally expressed in Korea, I think Japan, more of an old-hand on the global playing field has long learned to keep their nationalism quiet. Regardless, I highly doubt Japanese are "less" nationalistic and "less" prone to touting their national brands. In any case, patriotism manifests in various ways.

However, if anything I am sure Japanese are well aware how established their brands are internationally whereas Koreans are still in the mindset they still have to establish themselves on the global arena. A difference in confidence I'd say.

The question i thought that was most interesting is the very last question. Clearly Koreans think highly of Japan's economy...while Japan itself and China do not. Japan especially has a low a fascinatingly low opinion of their own economy....

interesting Q1 and Q2 in regards to Koreans. I figured they'd trust and be more proud of their national brands than the Japanese due to Koreans being more Nationalistic - the "Buy Korean" attitude.
