		<description>When I first worked in Japan, I was really stunned by the insurance-selling ladies who would hesitantly enter the office, tip-toe around, whispering polite greetings and distributing candy and ads but the weirdest of all is that everyone completely ignored them---not even give a return greeting, just a nod. 

I also had to wear a Pepto-Bismol pink uniform the first few months to show everyone "I am new and stupid here!!"

My computer was also a fossil and groaned all the time. God that was a rough time in my life. I had no idea what was what.

The other thing that suprised me was all the petty office politics and how mean &#38; manipulative supervisors can be...</description>
