Toyota seems to be quite affordable and convenient...however how bout luxury rental cars in Japan especially imported ones? You will not probably answer to this post (cos it was posted in 2007 :).....would appreciate if you could recommend any anyway...
Looking for BMW or Benz and as far as I checked, the more affordable and convenient (non-smoking - available, navigation system in English and even English speaking staff!) is Oscar rent a car (http://www.oscar-rent.jp)...which even offered me car delivery for free within Tokyo....
