Email best way of spreading mobile phone advertising information

Ever accessed advertising campaign information through a mobile phone? graph of japanese opinionLast month japan.internet.com reported on an opinion poll conducted by goo Research into mobile phones and promotional sites. 1,049 members of goo Research’s monitor pool responded to a private internet-based questionnaire. 58.5% of the sample was female, 1.7% in their teens, 24.4% in their twenties, 41.0% in their thirties, 25.0% in their forties, and 7.9% in their fifties.

This figure for participation has increased just 1.1% from when a similar question was asked about 18 months ago.

When asked where they learnt about the promotions they participated in, the top answer was from mobile phone sites with 209 people, or 49.3%. Next was 175 people, or 41.3% finding the information on a product label or attached seal; 130 people, or 30.7% saw a leaflet or the like in a shop; 119 people, or 28.1% learnt from a site viewed on their PC; 83 people, or 19.6% from magazines; and just 58 people, or 13.7% seeing it advertised on television.

When asked how satisified they were with these mobile phone based promotional campaigns, just 2.4% were completely satisfied, but 56.1% were somewhat satisfied.

Those favouring the PC has decreased 5.2 percentage points from a year and a half ago.
