You should really turn that annoying IE-bashing notice off, as it reveals a severe disrespect to the preferences of your readers. I also don't believe the message of the notice to be wise or true. Unwise: it might lull people you convinced to switch to Firefox in a false sense of security; this is unwise regardless of the relative bugginess of the two browsers. Untrue: current versions of IE are not significantly more insecure than Firefox, and in fact there are bug reports associated with possible security holes in Firefox that have gone unpatched for three years and counting. Every bit of software contains bugs, and IE has got a bad reputation, and perhaps rightly so, but Firefox is not much better. That is not to say Firefox is without its good points, but at least be honest. And when we come to honesty, please be honest about your real goal, which is not the safety of your readers, but pushing Firefox. In short, you're acting like a fanboy. But the worst part, I think, is still your disrespect for your readers.

I moved the article to a new name, as this is used in official English editions.

"WhisperToMe, I’ll whisper to you - I hate manga, or more particularly the over-emphasis in Wikipedia of the popular shonen manga. I’m in fact reading Darlin ha Gaikokujin right now - ooh, Google can’t find anything about the manga, Tony Lazlo or Saori Ogura in the English part."

It's happening since the shonen manga is the stuff released in the West, and therefore is known to English-language fans.

I'll see if I can dig up info on "Darlin ha Gaikokujin"

Kurt, I don't edit as quite frankly, I've heard so many stories about reverts, pointless fiddling with valid entries, and other sorts of politicing that I don't want to get involved, and quite frankly I don't really have the time either.

claris, yes, I know, I know, I should be editing it myself!

filip, I suppose I should really edit and if I don't like what happens, I'll go back to writing blog entries like this!

" Characters in translated Japanese manga, anime and video games are a special case. "

"But, we just established they tend to use Western order, for comics at least. "

Well, the characters are a special case because, many times, the names are completely changed (e.g. Pokemon and Case Closed) - And sometimes names differ from volume to volume.

Thank you for your critique! I'll see how much of this I can fix :)

That's it: improve Wikipedia yourself! It's great that you have noticed so many wrong parts in the article: you might want to change them, or, if you don't want or cannot improve the bad parts, you may still want to leave your constructive comments on the talk page.

I agree--the whole point of Wikipedia is that when you see something wrong, you fix it. It's very, very easy to do, and you don't really have to learn their markup language (just copy whatever you see used in similar parts of the entry). Wikipedia improves through the correction of well-informed users such as yourself, not as a simple result of time.

Why don't you edit the entry? I'm not questioning your criticism, but since you've gone this far, wouldn't it make sense to change the entry as you see fit? That's the great thing about Wikipedia, of course.
