Japanese women dream of the USA
DIMSDRIVE performed internet-based research involving 5,274 people in September of last year to find out which country’s citizens would people most want to marry. It is not stated whether or not the people interviewed were single or not.
The Asia versus the West split is quite noticeable in the men, but really striking amongst the women. I previously translated statistics regarding international marriages in Japan that shows that the ideals being expressed here do not seem to be realised.
On a slight tangent, I watched the last episode of an NHK English learning program which features an English-speaking Western blonde angel that prods a clueless office worker along the path to success at her job getting a date with her transferred from New York colleague, the ideal tall, muscular, tanned, well-coiffured white executive. The angel’s job was done because the glaikit Misaki finally pulled her man.

However for women there is a marked difference; about 74% in total choose the West (over 40% for the USA alone) versus a mere 7.4% for the East, a massive ten to one vote for Europe and the USA.
Next, looking at the detailed age breakdown, it’s only in the teenage girls group that the USA fails to top the charts, losing out to France and Korea, and equal with the UK. For men in their twenties, American women are preferred over the second-placed Korean women by almost 60%, and the Chinese are back in fifth, gaining just over a third of the number of votes of the USA. However, the older men get, the stronger the charms of the Asian neighbours become, with the gap at its smallest being just a mere three votes. Similarly, for men in their forties and over, Chinese women cut the gap from a third to about a half of the USA score.
For women, as they get older (ignoring the over sixty bracket which has a very small sample size, so may be rather inaccurate) the attraction to American men only get stronger; in their twenties, Americans get just under a quarter of the vote, but by their fifties, it surpasses three in ten. Despite the charms of the disturbingly Harry Potter-like Bae Yong Joon Korean men do not seem to be particularly favoured by the middle-aged demographic.
These two main trends noted above are perhaps reflections on Japanese society as much as on foreign stereotypes. The younger men hold images of themselves as charming the sophisticated Western woman, but as they age (and visit dodgy hostess bars…) they come to realise that perhaps only Asian women could accept their typical Japanese behaviour. For women, after having been around Japanese men for many, many years, they too may come to realise that the Western stereotypes of politeness and chivalry are the only things that could satisty them in marriage.
Bonus points if you can name the people pictured…

In fact my japanese girlfriend was with me and she went to the embassy and they said that there were 15 Japanese people in the country and three of them work at the embassy.

I think Japanese women have to search not for race but for a person.
I know latinas who married europeans, thinking they will be better than latin american husbards and many of them regret it.
One of them was married with a german man who beat her when he was angry.
Other was married to a Spaniard who leaver her alone for months, cheated on her and when they finally get divorced, he took the children.
The last I meet was married to a swiss man who wants her to work on thier restaurant all the day, take care of the children and clean the house. She is now divorcing him.
Also I had seen asian women married to americans in New York and some of them doesn’t look happy, because their husband want them to do all the job. I see this asian girl who was buying tickets and taking care of her two daughters while his american husband was sitting in a bench doing nothing, and another asian girl who was serving fast food to her american husband (carring the heavy food tray and everything).
These are just a bunch of cases I had seen, I am not saying every case is the same.
Of course there are happy interracial couples and american and european men who love their wives.

Wow, I read through most of this very long blog, esp. the beginning/middle parts, and I’ve come away feeling I need to take a good long bath and scrub away the dirt it’s left on me. It seems to me the black posters here have a major case of yellow fever. Many of these posters seem to be objectifying Asian women, esp. Japanese. There’s so much talk about getting laid and big packages, blah blah blah. This is so typical of westerners talk about Asian women. And how big a black man is gets old fast. Do you not think Asians don’t joke about it all the time? All Blacks and westerners seem to talk (brag) about is the size of their package and ridicule Asian men on their lack of. As if that is a major reason that Asian women should jump ship. Well, maybe some do (namely Japanese), but the majority would not demean themselves this way. And those that do, especially those that go with blacks, good riddance, they are bottom of the barrel anyways. It’s funny, many Chinese/Japanese/Koreans that are with blacks are very ugly to their native people. So by all means, leave your Asian roots but don’t come back.
As they say, once you go black, you never go back. Which is more than true is you really think beyond the shallow sex and beyond yourself. It’s just so laughable and simplistic to think it’s always about appearances and sex. It’s a lot more complicated than that! There’s soooo much more to consider like; history, filial commitments, prestige, children….LOSS OF CULTURE.
Since blacks in society don’t really have strong NATIVE cultural backgrounds to fall back on, instead just adopting other countries cultures where ever they happened to migrate to, what do you have to worry about. However, consider when and if a black person were to integrate into say Chinese society, they would in essense destroy it. Countries such as China have 5,000 yrs of history and along with it, it’s complicated culture. The natives understand it as no outsider ever will. Chinese stick together because of thought and understandings that are ingrained, which westerners always find strange but which are no mystery to them. As the saying goes, the belly knows.
So if a black/Asian(Chinese/Korean) had children, things would be changed and destroyed. Certainly Asians would become MUCH darker skin color-wise.
Unlike caucasians, Asians never even go for any type of tanning. Sorry, but Asians revere White skin, not Caucasian white, but Asian white (it’s historic). Black genes would just destroy everything. And mixing with Blacks does NOT make Asians more superior as Delboy is trying to brainwash people into believing. Just look at Phillipinos, a great many are mixed with blacks, and they are considered inferior. Sorry, that is just the truth. Being dark is no great achievement. It’s a bit too easy. It’s staying pale that is going to be harder as so many dark people aspire to get lighter and try so hard to mix with lighter peoples.
As for historical respect, what has Africa historically contributed to the world (besides out of Africa theory, which China does not buy)? And presently? Even to this day, many natives still live in huts. That is their way of life. Face it, in Africa’s case, it is the white man who introduced blacks to some culture and civilization. THIS is how many East Asians see it. Can that really be disputed?
Especially when they compare to say, China and her civilization. See the HUGE difference? So when blacks cannot understand why East Asians, esp. Chinese and Koreans don’t even consider Blacks to be viable partners for mates, they just have to think beyond their anatomy and how “cool” they think look with their bling bling.
They may fool those J-girls who uniquely need to follow the group mentality, and copy the trend of the moment. But on a deeper level, race mixing with blacks will always be Taboo due to historical and cultural East-Asian centric views.

It’s possible for two people to fall in love despite the race, skin color, whatever. But those are VERY rare.
In the world, average blacks aren’t consider viable partners for mates… and honestly, that doesn’t just apply for East Asians. What about Europeans, Middle Easterners, South Asians? unless you are a rich black man, who’s gonna marry?
I think the huge factors would be the cultural difference, and physical differences.
Skin color is very important in Asian cultures.
In India, there are various names for identifying “brown” skin and how brown you are. The darker you are, uglier you are. When guys ask about a girl to date, they always ask how dark the girl is. Same with Philippines and other southeast asian countries.
In East Asia, porcelain white skin has been revered and viewed as the ultimate symbol of beauty since the beginning of their history … THAT means before the contact with Europeans.
Even in Europe, white and pale skin had been viewed as more beautiful and high class.
So people who keep mentioning this is racist and etc… you know deep inside these are the truth.
But then Thank God, most people aren’t shallow and can look beyond the skin color, race, and culture.

I’ll add another point to Miko’s view on Blacks. Btw, I’m Asian male.
I’m not racist against Blacks, or anything. I’ll gladly approve of all Black-Asian relationships if the following condition is met:
(1) Stop destroying every nation’s society with your ghetto culture. In every city, the proportion of senseless violent murders and crimes are at least proportionately 10X more in Black populated areas with ghetto/hip hop/R&B culture. Now, I’m not saying that only Black people form gangs. I mean look at the Yakuzas, Chinese gangsters, Hells Angels, and the likes. But even in peaceful countries like Canada, certain parts of it are destroyed senselessly (we’re talking drive by shootings, someone putting random bullets into people’s front doors, revenge killing with an automatic gun in plain daylight/crowded areas, stay bullets killing innocent people) where there is ghetto culture generated from Black culture.
In every corner of a city where Blacks are the majority local population AND ghetto culture is the NORM, real estate prices drop drastically for this and this reason alone. You guys are devouring up potentially great city corners like the plague. This is the sole reason why Asians do not approve of Black-Asian relationships in general. Once you stop destroying society and learn to integrate with it instead, you will be highly regarded upon by all races, and not just Asians.

This is especially true for the Japanese.
I grew up in a North American city where the majority of Asians are Chinese.
It stuns me how ugly Japanese women are compared to their Chinese (or heavily-modded-by-plastic-surgery Korean) cousins.
I mean you take prime example: Ayumi Hamasaki.
The magazine covers, internet images, posters, and what not that you see are not the real Ayumi.
I hear that image editing companies spend at least a week photoshopping her magazine image.
Gives you an idea of how ugly she is in real life.
I mean, if Ayumi Hamasaki isn’t all that hot in real life, who else has the right to claim that title?
Even then, her photoshopped image is nothing compared to some random fine-looking Chinese babes waiting for the trains in my city’s subway system.
I visit JET programme teachers’s blogs from Japan and marvel at the ugliness of the student photos.
Not once could I spot a schoolgirl half as pretty as the Chinese babes I encounter every day in my North American city.
Not to mention 99% of Jap girls are flat-chested/hinded, and look like 13 year old girls. (Pedophiles anyone?)
And if you do get lucky with a hot Jap woman, don’t be fooled.
She may not be all that she seems.
We’re talking about dark contact lenses to make her irises appear larger and give her those glistenning Kawaii large eyes look (classic case of Japanese dating site profiles), eyelid tapes to make her non-double-eyelids appear double eyelidded and her eyes appear Ayumi Hamasaki-sized, whitening cream to make her complexion appear paler than normal, etc.
I must admit that I was initially suckered into thinking that Jap women are the hottest Asians in the world by having watched too many JAV porn videos.
The actresses in those videos are NOT natural beauties. Real Jap NATURAL beauties are untouched by make-up (as mentioned above), untouched by plastic surgery, and don’t look anything like them porno actresses.
The only actress that is maybe untouched by cosmetic surgery and make-up is probably Maria Ozawa, but even then she’s half Caucasian.
I mean, I’ve also watched lots of live action Jap movies and not once could I spot a Japanese actress, who looked decent, or somewhat hot.
I’ve stopped writing to my many Japanese pen-pals, whom I thought for sure I would take as bride, after they’ve sent me their mug shot… *Shudders*
So, I’m sorry to say, but laying a “hot” Jap woman is nothing to be proud of, at least not for me anymore.
So, in my opinion, Jap women’s beauty is way over-rated.
Especially the Jap halflings come to mind.
In my POV, Jap-Chinese halflings are the cutest, next comes SOME Jap-Caucasian halflings (the majority are butt ugly), and I don’t want to speak of Jap-Korean halflings.
Anyways, I don’t really care about the Japs. Their country is sinking into an economic hell-hole, as the increase in recent violent crimes atest.
Corrupt their women all you want, you Black people, but you’ll never be able to corrupt the beautiful Chinese women. They are way smarter than that.
The near future belongs to the Chinese anyways with their alarming economic growth rate.

It’s a widely known fact of life (thanks to Europeans, if it wasn’t for them the concept of race wouldn’t exist) the darker your skin color the less highly regarded you are in society, regardless of your geographic location. However, it’s only fools that subscribe to this mentality and bow to the feet of ignorance. Europeans and their descendants have single handily created a global power structure that serves their interests by and large and the world around them falls to their feet for what reason god knows why and they continue to reap the benefits.
And for the clowns that watch too much television and think that all blacks have something to do with crime or some other form of blissful ignorance you’re sadly mistaken, especially those of you who can’t finger the many contributions Africans have made to society at large throughout history. Must you remember the Moors (BLACK Africans among Arabs and others) who ruled over Spain and other parts of southern Europe for HUNDREDS of years, and those whitewash documentaries you see on the Egyptian Pharaohs, yeh quite a few of them were BLACK too. It’s not a surprise most of you have such short sighted and diluted eurocentric perspective. You’re lack of education is clearly evident. Oh, and those people you call African American are about as pure black as Latinos are pure indigenous Latin American; just like so many other points in history whites have pillaged and raped foreign villagers and created a whole other class of so called “inferior” beings to serve as their subjects. I’m also in admiration of how so many of you burden one black person with the wrongs of other blacks whom the individual has no association with other than a skin color he/she didn’t choose but was born with. I hold no responsibility for any other human being than myself and refuse to accept your ignorance and stupidity as ruler and dictator of my life in any way shape or form.
With all of the above said I couldn’t care less what color the woman of my dreams ends up being, any real human being can understand and appreciate that. I hope that there is racial separation, but I hope that whites, asians, latins, and other races are made to suffer for the pain that they have caused. I don’t really get what side of the coin your on, but it sounds like you don’t like much of anyone and your for racial separation and conflict (can’t be good). Like I said though (this is to be read in the general sense in application to EVERYONE) if you don’t like me because of something as simplistic as the color of my skin, that is your problem. Not mine.
A racist is a puppet for the powers that be; racism and other forms of oppression are used to achieve some sort of social order and protect a “precious few” while the rest of the world ranks citizens of varying phenotypes as either superior and inferior and outbreaks of violence between waring “races” are used to divide and conquer (go figure who fits where), and there can only be one victor. Race is purely a social concept with NO biological backing whatsoever. Everyone wants to be the best, to be the superior who feasts at the table above his starving subordinates.
The interesting thing about this life though is that EVERYONE thinks they’re better than EVERYONE else. Only when people take their heads out of their asses and realize we really do breathe the same air can there be any sort of accomplishment achieved in the form of respect and an appreciation for one another’s differences. I predict one day race will indeed become a non issue, just not anytime soon.

Imperialism did not benefit most Africans, but some did benefit as they captured people from other tribes and sold thehm to the Europeans. It always sounds like it was all because of Europeans, they had a lot of African help. Since the slave trade predated high imperialism wouldnt one be able to conclude that violence existed before Europeans came, of course it did violence is a human charactaristic, period. Europeans just got very efficient at it. Europe was very violent at many points in history, but it is not today. What are teh problems today, you can’t keep blaming the present on the past. Are blacks really that marginalized anymore? Well a black man leads the presdential race in America, come a long way. The talk should be about how to move forward and not about centuries past.
