Japanese women dream of the USA
DIMSDRIVE performed internet-based research involving 5,274 people in September of last year to find out which country’s citizens would people most want to marry. It is not stated whether or not the people interviewed were single or not.
The Asia versus the West split is quite noticeable in the men, but really striking amongst the women. I previously translated statistics regarding international marriages in Japan that shows that the ideals being expressed here do not seem to be realised.
On a slight tangent, I watched the last episode of an NHK English learning program which features an English-speaking Western blonde angel that prods a clueless office worker along the path to success at her job getting a date with her transferred from New York colleague, the ideal tall, muscular, tanned, well-coiffured white executive. The angel’s job was done because the glaikit Misaki finally pulled her man.

However for women there is a marked difference; about 74% in total choose the West (over 40% for the USA alone) versus a mere 7.4% for the East, a massive ten to one vote for Europe and the USA.
Next, looking at the detailed age breakdown, it’s only in the teenage girls group that the USA fails to top the charts, losing out to France and Korea, and equal with the UK. For men in their twenties, American women are preferred over the second-placed Korean women by almost 60%, and the Chinese are back in fifth, gaining just over a third of the number of votes of the USA. However, the older men get, the stronger the charms of the Asian neighbours become, with the gap at its smallest being just a mere three votes. Similarly, for men in their forties and over, Chinese women cut the gap from a third to about a half of the USA score.
For women, as they get older (ignoring the over sixty bracket which has a very small sample size, so may be rather inaccurate) the attraction to American men only get stronger; in their twenties, Americans get just under a quarter of the vote, but by their fifties, it surpasses three in ten. Despite the charms of the disturbingly Harry Potter-like Bae Yong Joon Korean men do not seem to be particularly favoured by the middle-aged demographic.
These two main trends noted above are perhaps reflections on Japanese society as much as on foreign stereotypes. The younger men hold images of themselves as charming the sophisticated Western woman, but as they age (and visit dodgy hostess bars…) they come to realise that perhaps only Asian women could accept their typical Japanese behaviour. For women, after having been around Japanese men for many, many years, they too may come to realise that the Western stereotypes of politeness and chivalry are the only things that could satisty them in marriage.

As for south africa, is the most successful african country in africa so what are you talking about.

See thiers this thing about Europe, they mostly hate americans (not all but mostly). They have alot of hate for anyone that basically rules and gives orders, and this is what america does, we order and push and get our way (Dennis Lerry can explain this fully “WE have the BOMBS”)
The thing is this, if you have chrismia, then you get the girls,(or money ect,) if you posess SOMETHING they find apealing, then you will get the girl. This is true in america, and everywhere else.
Now I am also taking into account the cultural diffrences, and the fact that some nations would look down on it, but the facts still hold true.
As for the hatred displayed here… Man I have no hate for anyone, never have, probally never will…… but I am sick and tired of blind ignorant hatred based solely on what we have gathered from our parents…. also think on this, you can hate our govrenment, you can hate our military, but untill you know us, and learn about us FROM who we are, than just shut the fuck up.

I think a guy like him doesn’t come often, and it’s probably one of the best things that happened for the nation and the people in a while. But as you pointed out about the embarrasingly negative truth about our nation, history has also shown us that saviors always recieve the most persecution. Never could understand that.
I think people just settle for mediocrity, like the guy at the dead end job….always scared of change. Sometimes these people come to help, if you give them a chance. And ironically, people swho shut them out, rob themsleves, as well as the future generation of harvest.

Japan is still A VERY CLOSED SOCIETY. Considering that 98%+ of Japanese date & marry each other, I would say that’s pretty closed. Also from what I gather, most Japanese woman are infatuated with Korean Guys especially Yon-Sama (from Winter Sonata) because of the Hallyu phenomenon which is sweeping other asian nations as well. There’s some that like white guys & black guys, they go to the clubs where they can find americans but that’s a very small number. You can also find that in all races (white girl dating black guys or black girls dating white guys, etc etc).

It’s funny about Japanese Women… I mean my cousin who is Korean like me but he was living in Japan & was saying how 10 years ago he hated it there and the japanese were racist to him, women didn’t give him the time of day. He couldn’t get a date. Now after Korean culture & entertainment became very popular in Japan, he becomes a hot commodity & can get a date almost anytime. The only thing I know is that Japanese Women follow trends & they can change their ideals instantly if something becomes popular.

Yeah, Japanese women are wishy washy childish F***s but if you gonna waste time with one, make sure she comes from money and she has access to it…..its so good! Also, play the Jekyll and Hyde persona on them…too many foreign guys kiss these women ass and completely underestimate how mentally vicious these women can become when they see they can punk you. some pretend some peoples are must ugly in some country! the reason = if your country had no food problem and eat well! your ethnic will be much pretty and attractive for sure! In east Europe woman before 1990 wasn’t really attractive for photograph their skin and face aspect was not interesting and now!!!!!The most pretty woman in the world are from east Europe believe it or not!

I’m a Black british girl hoping to go and teach English in Japan, next year, having experienced some slight racisim in India last year i just wanted to check what Japan was like, and to be honest i can not for the live of me beleive some of he things violent AJ has been saying nor can i believe that other people hae entertained him. I for one am going to insult him by saying if you are genuinely black then you are a disgrace, and if you’re not you are even more of a disgrace hiding behind the black race to insult the asians. even though i encountered slight racism in india, I will still go there again and reccommend anyone to go there, where ever you go there will always be a strange one, and judging from the comments that imbecile violent AJ has been making i will certainly be going to Japan, and will definatley be proving him wrong.
